Concerto a supporto del popolo cinese: "Un fiore di speranza sulla Via della seta. Da Venezia a Wuhan"

Nelle sale del Conservatorio Benedetto Marcello di Venezia, con la produzione della Fondazione Ugo e Olga Levi, si è tenuto un emozionante concerto ideato a Francesco Stochino Weiss.

Concepito come evento di solidarietà per la Cina martoriata dall’epidemia, improvvisamente la scena del suo svolgimento è completamente cambiata, poiché anche Venezia è stata raggiunta dall’infezione. Questo ha reso ancora più stretto l’abbraccio, più teso il contesto, più palpitante la partecipazione. Al momento di iniziare è venuta una superiore disposizione che ha bloccato gli ingressi, come precauzione per contenere il contagio. In poche ore il Carnevale si è fermato proprio nel momento del suo massimo svolgimento, i teatri, i musei, le biblioteche, i ritrovi, tutto si è chiuso. Il pesante portone dell’immenso Palazzo Pisani, sede del Conservatorio, è stato serrato e la sala del concerto è rimasta deserta, surreale, con la musica offerta solo alle telecamere.

La Fondazione Levi, che già aveva prodotto nell’autunno due concerti a Pechino con un docente e alcuni allievi del Conservatorio (uno cinese!), ha intensamente voluto questa manifestazione di solidarietà, improvvisamente estesa all’Italia stessa. Il Conservatorio di Venezia, che ha sempre tenuto aperte le porte ai suoi settanta studenti cinesi, volentieri si è si è fatto coinvolgere in una corale adesione al progetto.

La Fondazione Levi è stata voluta per continuare nel tempo la passione dei suoi Fondatori: la musica. E come nelle guerre mondiali Ugo e Olga Levi, ebrei, hanno trovato nelle pratiche e nell’ascolto della musica ragione di resistenza agli orrori della guerra e del razzismo, così in questa grande battaglia contro la malattia la musica unisce i popoli e diventa motivo di fratellanza e di speranza. I giovani italiani e cinesi che hanno cantato insieme, il toccante messaggio corale dei loro coetanei di Wuhan, e fra questi di una cantante formatasi proprio a Venezia, hanno creato un vero e proprio inno alla vita.

A flower of hope on the Silk Road. From Venice to Wuhan

In the concert hall of the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Venice,  as well as in one Levi Foudation hall, with the production of the Ugo and Olga Levi Foundation, an exciting concert was held created  by Francesco Stochino Weiss.

Conceived as an event of solidarity for China ravaged by the epidemic, suddenly the scene of its development has completely changed, since Venice too has been reached by the infection. This made the embrace even tighter, the context more tense, the participation more palpitating. At the time of starting, a superior provision came that blocked the entrances, as a precaution to contain the infection. In a few hours the Carnival stopped right at the moment of its maximum development, the theaters, museums, libraries, meeting places, everything was closed. The heavy door of the immense Palazzo Pisani, seat of the Conservatory, together with some picture from the hall of Levi foundation Palace, has been closed and the concert hall has remained deserted, surreal, with the music offered only to the cameras.

The Levi Foundation, which had already produced two concerts in Beijing in the autumn with a teacher and some students of the Conservatory (one Chinese), Intensely wanted this manifestation of solidarity, suddenly extended to Italy itself. The Venice Conservatory, which has always kept its doors open to its seventy Chinese students, willingly got involved in a choral adhesion to the project.

The Levi Foundation was created to continue the passion of its Founders over time: music. And as in the world wars Ugo and Olga Levi, Jews, found in the practices and listening to music reason of resistance to the horrors of war and racism, so in this great battle against disease music unites peoples and becomes a reason for brotherhood and hope. The young Italians and Chinese who sang together, the touching choral message of their Wuhan peers, and among them a singer trained in Venice, created a real hymn to life.

丝路上的希望之花。从威尼斯到武汉

一场激动人心的音乐会在威尼斯“贝内德托.马尔切洛”国立音乐学院的音乐厅和列维基金会的长廊中上演。此次音乐会由列维基金会出品，Francesco Stochino Weiss担任制片人。

此次音乐会的初衷，是对正受疫情影响的中国表示支持，然而威尼斯也面临病毒肆虐的情况也让事情变得完全不同了。这样的情况也让威尼斯和中国之间的情感更加紧密，让筹备工作更加紧张，让所有参与的人更加心情忐忑。在音乐会刚刚开始的时候，政府部门封闭了大门以阻止感染的蔓延。几小时后，威尼斯狂欢节在最高潮的时候被取消，剧院、博物馆、图书馆以及其他人员聚集场所都被关闭了。庇萨尼宫的沉重大门、学院的座椅上、镜头中列维基金会所在宫殿的长廊上都空无一人，音乐厅变成了一座孤岛，看起来是那么不真实，欣赏大厅里回荡的音乐的，只有摄像机。

列维基金会在去年秋天已经在北京举办了两次音乐会，是由音乐学院一位老师和他的学生们（其中一位是来自中国的学生）进行表演的。基金会非常希望通过这次音乐会表达对中国的支持，意大利一夜之间也突然需要团结起来面对病毒。威尼斯音乐学院一直向院里的七十多位中国学生敞开大门，学院的合唱团也自愿参加这次音乐会以示支持。

列维基金会创立的目的是延续创始人对音乐的热情。在世界大战之时，乌戈和奥尔加·列维这对犹太夫妇在音乐中得到了力量，抗拒战争和种族迫害带来的恐惧,所以，在这场抗击病毒的战争中，音乐将继续团结人民，并成为中意友谊和希望的桥梁。年轻的意大利和中国艺术家们共同唱响的歌曲、与学院身在武汉的校友共同合唱的动人心弦茉莉花共同创造了一首生命的赞歌。
