CIFTIS 2022 | Italy: an Active Player in Intl Trade in Services

The CIFTIS 2022, an international fair that aims at promoting common development in the field of international trade in services, opened today in Beijing at the China National Convention Center.

For this edition, Italy participates in the fair with a National Pavilion organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) together with the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C. and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC).




The Italian Pavilion, an important showcase for the "Made in Italy" service industry, gathers 15 companies highlighting Italy’s key role in a variety of sectors, such as tourism and sport, logistics and communication, art and design, legal and fiscal services, finance and banking.

The fair is generating concrete interest in our companies and promoting future business opportunities with local players. Visitors came across Italian companies well established all over the world and were able to experience the excellence that our country is able to offer also in the service industry.







Among the distinguished guests present today were Min. Counsellor Emanuele di Lorenzo Badia, Italy's Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Mr Wu Zhengping, Director of the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr Marco Midolo, First Counsellor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Italian Embassy to the P.R.C., Mr Gianpaolo Bruno, Italian Trade Commissioner and Coordinator of ITA Offices in China and Mongolia, and Mr Renzo Isler, Secretary General of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce.
