CICC at Shanghai Huangpu District Promotion Conference

On the afternoon of October 31st, 2024, the CICC Board Director Cristina Corsini and the CICC Public Affairs Manager Chen Wei, had the honor of attending the “Huangpu District Foreign Investment Promotion Conference and Further Optimizing the Foreign Investment Environment Conference” held in Huangpu District. The event saw the participation of Gao Yun, Secretary of the District Committee; Shen Shanzhou, Deputy Secretary and District Chief of the District Committee and He Dongbin, Deputy Director of the Municipal Commerce Commission. 

The conference brought together representatives from foreign business associations, investment promotion agencies and cornerstone strategic partner units involved in the district's foreign investment work. The event was also attended by key foreign-funded enterprises, as well as relevant officials from district government departments, streets, district owned and state-owned enterprises.

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce has recently been recognized as the second batch of Cornerstone Strategic partners in Huangpu District and Cristina Corsini, Board Director of CICC, highlighted how pleased we are to deepen our cooperation with the Huangpu District through participation in the Cornerstone Strategic Partner Program, an initiative that we consider extremely relevant. This plan has promoted the establishment of a new flexible and efficient model for promoting foreign investment, involving multiple professional service organizations such as government departments, foreign business associations, and consulting firms. The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is willing to work with Huangpu District to create new business opportunities and promote the exchange of knowledge and professional expertise.
