CICC met with CCPIT Shanghai, May 24th Shanghai

On the morning of May 24th, Lorenzo Riccardi, the Chairman of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Emilio Cassanelli, Board member of CICC, Antonella Fontanarosa, CICC Vice Secretary General & Shanghai Office Manager and Chen Wei, CICC Public Affair Manager, had the pleasure to visit CCPIT Shanghai Office and to meet Zhou Minhao, Chairman of CCPIT Shanghai and Hao Wen Vice Chairman of CCPIT Shanghai with others International Department leaders.

During the visit, CICC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi affirmed that CICC will play a more active role in promoting economic and trade cooperation and exchanges between China and Italy, bringing the relationship between the two countries to a higher level. As a matter of fact, leveraging important time points such as the 700th anniversary of Marco Polo's death, will aim to promote better mutual support between Chinese and Italian enterprises.

The main theme of the discussion focused on strengthening trade relations between companies from Italy and the Shanghai Area Market, exploring potential business opportunities, and discussing ways to facilitate the operations of Italian enterprises in Shanghai. The participants recognized the mutual benefits of increased economic engagement and agreed to explore further areas of cooperation.

Shanghai CCPIT expressed a warm welcome to the arrival of CICC and actively proposed to maintain close contact and carry out business visits and meetings, and other activities in the future.
