On 23 April 2025, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) delegation, led by CICC Chairman, Lorenzo Riccardi, South China Board Member, Alessandro Lamantia, and South China Manager Romina Di Martino, held a constructive meeting with Mr. Zhang Sihong, Deputy Director of the China Foreign Trade Centre (CFTC), the host of the Canton Fair.
During the discussion, both sides explored a range of collaboration opportunities between CFTC and CICC, focusing on: Publicity & Promotion, Canton Fair Promotion Events, “Trade Bridge” Matchmaking, Exhibitor Invitation, Buyer Attendance in Groups, Post-Fair Surveys, Canton Fair Promotional Visits.
Following the strategy session, Mr. Zhang gave the delegation an in-depth briefing on the Canton Fair’s current layout—highlighting the dedicated Italy pavilions—and led them on a guided tour of the exhibition halls.
The meeting concluded with warm thanks on both sides, and the CFTC presented commemorative gifts to the CICC delegation as a token of appreciation.
