CICC hiring in Beijing! Events and Administration Coordinator

Job description:

The resource will join the CICC Beijing Office team. He/she will work closely with Beijing Office Manager and the team to implement CICC activities in Beijing and the North.  On the events side, these can include business conferences, seminars, trade fairs, exhibitions and any other promotional events aimed at supporting Italian companies. He/she will also support in the implementation of new initiatives and projects for the North as well as in the daily management of office activities.

In this role he/she will have the opportunity to work in a small and dynamic team and across a wide range of different tasks and business sectors contributing to grow CICC presence in the North.

Events and Activities:

Planning and organization of the activities and events, including budget planning and reporting, cooperation and partners scouting; engagement and management of third parties
Activities and events organization with reference to event program definition including agenda, speaker selection, venue selection, ect.
Design and drafting of communication materials for events promotion and overall support to the communication management (CICC Website, Wechat, Mass mailing, other social media platforms)
Drafting and organization of the annual planned activities’ report and the past activity reports in coordination with the Secretary General and the Office Manager
Support to the management of CICC Working groups’ activities assigned to the North
Support to the Info service and any other office activity assigned by the Office Manger


Office management related to coordination with IT supplier, office suppliers order, organization and update of database and other similar tasks
Support to accounting tasks related to events and other office activities

Skills and Requirements: 

Italian national preferred
Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree (preferred)
Excellent command of English (both oral and written) necessary; good command of Chinese/Italian (both oral and written) is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive attitude, and goal-oriented
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to organize work independently across a wide range of tasks
Able to work in a multicultural team and contribute to team achievements
Proficiency in the use of MS Office necessary; ability to use CRM platforms and basic graphic design tools is a plus
Previous experience at any level in the field of events management or in similar organizations is a plus;
