On the 29th of May, 2009, the CICC Chairman Davide Cucino took part to "China and the West today. Lessons from Matteo Ricci", an international conference held from the 27th to the 29th of May by the Cini Foundation, on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, Venice, Italy.Davide Cucino spoke during a round table moderated by the journalist Federico Rampini, with the participation of Romeo Orlandi, Luo Hong Bo and Giovanni Puglisi.Cucino`s speech was about Italy`s image in China, analyzing the perception and the real situation of Italian businesses in China. Beside some areas of well-recognized success, he pointed out the gap between the perception of the High-Tech industry and its real development, which is ranked in the highest position e.g. aerospace, high speed trains and top-level automotive industry.For further information, click here to download the presentation of the event.
