The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) successfully hosted the China-Italy Business Conference on 21 November 2025 in Beijing, bringing together representatives from the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.C. and top executives from major Italian companies for an engagement session focusing on Sino-Italian economic cooperation.

Representatives from the Ministry of Commerce provided valuable insights into bilateral investment services and highlighted major consumption market opportunities anticipated during China’s upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026–2030).

A dynamic dialogue session followed, moderated by CICC Vice Chairman in the North Andrea Croci, featuring presentations from leading Italian corporations, each sharing strategic perspectives and on-the-ground experience in the Chinese market. Speakers included:

  • Eni China – Gianni Di Giovanni, Chairman
  • Generali China Insurance – Jack Yuan, CEO
  • Leonardo China – Jianye Zhang, General Manager
  • STMicroelectronics – Francesco Muggeri, Vice President
  • Ducati China – Fabio Lambertini, CEO
