Call for Tenders | The 6th Grand Canal Culture and Tourism Expo

Following the success of the 2023 edition, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CCIC) is excited to announce a Call for Tenders to participate as exhibitors in the Italian National Pavilion at the 6th Suzhou Grand Canal Culture and Tourism Expo. The event will take place from September 13th to 15th at the Suzhou International Expo Center, with a focus on the theme: Tourism · Culture · Feature.

We are looking for companies that could promote Italian Excellence by exhibiting in the following categories:

• Tourism resources

• Tourist routes

• "Made in Italy" tangible products

• Italian cultural and creative products

• Food (packaging) and beverage

• Fashion, textile, manufacturing, accessories

• Intangible cultural heritage products, including education

• Cultural exchange products

The Expo will be co-endorsed by the Propaganda Department of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Jiangsu Province, the Foreign Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province, the Provincial Sports Bureau, the Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Suzhou Municipal People' s Government, and the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism.

Application process

1) Express your interest via email at infosuzhou@cameraitacina.com and take part to the Tender! DEADLINE: Friday, July 12, 2024, 14:00 pm

2) CICC will contact you regarding the details of the event.

3) After proper evaluation, CICC will feedback you regarding the result.

Participation terms

• Participation in tendering is open to CICC Members and non-Members and Italian associations;

• Companies competing in the tender must have the necessary knowledge and experience and have the technical support and personnel capable to run the tender;

• Each company can only submit one tender;

• The tender should be drafted in Italian or English, filled in and signed;

• It is the responsibility of the tenderer to study the specification and requirements before submitting the tender.

Evaluation criteria

• CICC will give priority to its Members and it will select the first submitted bid meeting the standards required;

• CICC reserves the right to select companies based on weighted quota in order to balance the representation of the widest possible range of industries;

• If no applications are submitted by the Members of the Chamber, the Chamber has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-Member companies.

Exclusion from tender

• In case of not meeting the conditions of the tendering process;

• In case of non-conformity with the hereby open call for tender;

• In case of submitting false data;

• Late submission.
