the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is pleased to inform you that Art Director of the Busoni Competition, Prof. Peter Paul Kainrath, has expressed his intention to bring to foreign countries the world renowned piano contest by creating a Chinese International Piano Competition. Italian and Chinese companies that would like to sponsor the activity are warmly welcomed.
The Competition has been a springboard for many illustrious musicians since 1949, year of its foundation in Bolzano, and is now at its 59th recurrence. The Chinese Edition could represent a platform for more than 50 million Chinese pianists who want to approach the international musical landscape as well as an opportunity for the western public to discover new talents.
