Bibenda Wine Masterclass_Post Event

On June 15th, the first lesson of the “Bibenda Wine Masterclass”, was held at the Italian Centre in Beijing.
The “Bibenda Wine Masterclass”, organized by, Bibenda (a magazine dedicated to the culture of Italian wine), CruItaly and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, aims at training our guests to perceive and distinguish the various subtleties of the noble Italian wines and enlightening them to the culture of wine.

  

The first lesson of the Masterclass started with a focus on the history of wine in Italy, Italian grape varieties and Wine classification, whith a focus on the description of the wines produced in Trentino and the key wineries of the region, such as “Ferrari” and “Tenuta San Leonardo”.

All the participants had the chance to taste six typical wines from Trentino: Villa Gresti, Vette, Terre di San Leonardo and San Leonardo 2008. 

All the delicious wines were paired to a selection of tasty Italian food, such as Parma ham, mozzarella, a selection of cheese and tomato basil and olive croutons.

  

  

The journey through Italian wines already started but you’re still on time to take part to the “Bibenda Wine Masterclass”, have a chance to taste Italy and be awarded with a certificate issued by Bibenda!
The next appointment is on  Wednesday, June 22nd.

-    Knowledge of Veneto region and its wine production
-    Tasting carefully selected wines from Veneto, such as Prosecco, Amarone and Valpolicella
-    Tasting Italian fine food

The price of each class is RMB 400, Registratons are open until the monday previous to the event.
