Young Professionals Interviews Series in Shanghai, October 25th

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), with the cooperation of the China-Italy Young Professionals Network, are glad to invite you to the event Interviews series – Careers and pathways of successful young professionals.

The event will take place on October 25, 2024 at Charbon Rooftop in Shanghai (L6-606, lapm Mall, 999 Middle Huaihai Road, Xuhui District | 上海市徐汇区淮海中路999号环贸lapm商场L6层L6-606). Three speakers from different fields of work, with around 10 years of professional experience in China, will be invited to the event, and each of them will share their professional experience, choices and the path taken to get where they are today. Come and get inspired by their stories and understand what the best path to a future job in China could be.

Vittorio Franzese

Registered Foreign Lawyer (Italy), Seyfarth Shaw

For more than 11 years, Vittorio has been assisting clients—from small startups making their first steps in Asia to multinational companies and investment funds across multiple industries - adapt to unfamiliar corporate and commercial laws and cultural norms in complicated markets. Vittorio’s experience assisting clients both in corporate law and in M&A deals, as well as in brand protection and IP rights management in China, has provided him with a comprehensive and far-sighted approach when it comes to navigating challenges under the particular laws and cultural norms of China. Native Italian speaker, Vittorio also communicates fluently in English, French, Chinese Mandarin and Spanish.

Pietro Luigi Ghigo

General Manager – eCommerce for EssilorLuxottica, Greater China

Born in Turin in 1985, Pietro Luigi has lived in Shanghai since 2017, where he met his wife Firyuza and where his two children Ayanna Leia and Enzo Giorgio were born. Pietro Luigi, proudly from Piedmont, defines himself as a citizen of the world.Following his bachelor's degree in Turin, Pietro Luigi obtained 3 master's degrees (Italy, UK and France) at ESCP Business School. During his training period, curiosity and ambition led him to explore different industries and roles around the world. From consulting in Milan to film production in Los Angeles, from investment banking in London to marketing in Paris. After L'Oréal and Google, Pietro Luigi was in charge of international development at Lavazza, leading projects in Europe, Canada and Asia. After the successful establishment of the Joint Venture between Lavazza and YumChina, despite the challenges imposed by the pandemic, Pietro Luigi had the opportunity to progress further by taking on the role of General Manager – eCommerce for EssilorLuxottica, Greater China.

Beatrice Cecchi

Product Marketing Communication Manager at NIO

Beatrice, originally from Florence, got one bachelor’s in Asian studies from the University of Bologna then studied in Ireland and France before finishing her master in International Management in China where she has been living since 2015; after graduation she has started her professional career in Shanghai, first in Italian companies such as Pirelli and Pininfarina then in NIO, one of the most important players among Global EVs.
