Webinar | Opportunities in the Hainan Free Trade Port, July 27th

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that we are organizing the Webinar “Opportunities in the Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP)” via Zoom on Wednesday, July 27th 2022, from 16:30 to 18:15 (Beijing Time) / 10:30 to 12:15 (Rome Time).

The webinar will be held on the occasion of the China International Consumer Products Expo, which will last 6 days from July 25th to 30th 2022.

About Hainan Free Trade Port (FTP):

In 2018, Beijing announced its goal to establish a Free Trade Port (FTP) in Hainan.

In June 2021, the "Law of the People's Republic of China on the Hainan Free Trade Port" was officially promulgated and implemented. Over the past year, Hainan has made every effort to promote the study, publicity and implementation of the FTP Law, and the good results of the FTP policy have gradually emerged.

At present, more than 180 policies have been introduced around the construction of the Hainan FTP, and a competitive policy and institutional system has been initially formed.

By 2025, the island-wide Customs-clearance Operation Task will focus on the legislative work in terms of trade and investment freedom and facilitation, people's livelihood protection, ecological protection, and risk prevention.

After 2025, the island is expected to become an international-level free trade port like Dubai, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
