Dear Members and Friends,
China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the webinar “Chinese Standards & Compliance for European Exporters”, organized in collaboration with the EU SME Centre and the Seconded European Standardisation Expert in China (SESEC) Project.
The webinar will be held on January 28th, 2021 from 16:00 to 17:30.
The webinar will provide an overview of how the Chinese standardization system is structured and it will provide guidance and practical tips on how to ensure that products exported from the EU and China are in compliance with relevant Chinese standards and technical requirements, both under normal trade and cross-border e-commerce; as well as for key sectors such as F&B, consumer products, and cosmetics.
This webinar is the first of a webinar series to be organized in the field of standards, conformity assessment and compliance in China. In fact, standards and compliance remain one of the main reasons why products exported from the EU to China encounter delays at the Chinese customs. The webinar series aims to address this issue by increasing the awareness of EU exporters; it will focus on horizontal issues, as well as on specific industries where EU exporters have a large presence in China.
