It is the 4th conference organized by Studio Legale Lauro. The conference is designed for Ship-owners, Charteres, Underwriters, P&I Clubs, Bankers, Law Firms and other shipping professionals to discuss up-to-date and cutting-edge topics and exchange views on the state of the art and challenges of the shipping industry.
During the conference some of the hottest issues of the current shipping markets will be addressed, such as Piracy, Credit Crunch, Charter Defaults, Ship Eco Building, LNG/OSV Shipbuilding, Oil Spills & Pollution, P&I insurance, Off-shore, Coastal Economic Special Zones. In addition, a full picture of the state of the art of the shipping cluster will be given by owners, lawyers, P&I Clubs, marine underwriters, banks and other financial institutions from different countries. Prof. Francesco Berlingieri, Honorary President of the Comité Maritime International (CMI) will address the Conference participants with a keynote speech. Mr. Paolo d’Amico, the President of the Italian Ship-owners Association, Mr. Mats H. Berglund, CEO of Pacific Basin Ltd., Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, Mr. Jing Wang, Managing Partner of Wang Jing & Co. will be present as well. The conference will include a lunch and a gala on the evening of 3rd October. A program of a sea weekend for a restricted number of guests will be soon announced.
