Briefing:
The emergence of massive wealth and markets in Asia has lead to a new wealth of opportunities for international businesses. Both China and India are experiencing some of the highest GDP growth rates in the world, and the development of the ten ASEAN nations trade bloc, with its pan-Asian free trade agreements coming into effect in 2015 will once again change international trade flows.

But where are the opportunities in the new Asia? Is China now the best option for setting up a manufacturing plant? Where are the new global consumers located and what can they buy? What does ASEAN bring to Asia`s competitive economic environment and how will these changes affect China, India and the Asian potential for trade with the United States, Europe and other key global markets? How to link up with ASEAN and India`s potential from China?

Chris Devonshire-Ellis, the Founding Partner of Dezan Shira & Associates will engage these questions and come up with some definitive -and surprising– answers.
