Mirabilia – European Network of UNESCO Sites

The Mirabilia - European Network of UNESCO Sites project, at its fourth edition this year, connects UNESCO World Heritage Sites less known within the Italian and international tourism scenes to increase their exposure to a larger audience.

Sponsors of the project are the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Matera, Brindisi, Genova, La Spezia, Lecce, Messina, Padova, Perugia, Ravenna, Salerno, Siena, Udine, on whose territory there’s at least one Unesco world heritage site, in cooperation with the Italian Chambers of Commerce Abroad, such as the Italy Chamber of Commerce in Japan (Tokyo), United States (Miami), Canada (Vancouver), South Africa (Joannesburg), China (Beijing) and Israel (Tel Aviv).

The project foresees various promotional events on foreign markets and an international event in Italy, the “Borsa Internazionale del Turismo Culturale”, which will take place in Lipari (Messina), from the 11th to the 13th October 2015.

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce will identify, select and profile the Tour Operators who will take part in the “Borsa Internazionale del Turismo Culturale” and to the side event dedicated to the promotion of quality Italian oil.

Available are the project’s emotional video, which brings together the locations in a path of images, lights and sensations, and brochure, presented for the 2014 edition (Perugia, December 1st-2nd).
