The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) together with the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C. and our Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) is glad to invite you to join the two-day online event “IP Protection Days: China Marketplaces” on October 12th-13th from 4:00 to 5:30 pm (Beijing Time).
The event is supported by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and Confindustria.
OVERVIEW
During the two sessions, company representatives and IP experts will train companies and individuals on IP Protection in the China Marketplaces.
Session I:
A Roundtable on the most frequent cases of IP infringement in the marketplaces and how to use new technologies to monitor IP infringements. We will discuss when the marketplace/platform is liable for IP infringements by vendors and share experiences on managing and protecting the IP in the marketplaces.
Session II:
The second session in a workshop format aims to train on measures to protect the IP. We will give more practical examples of IP infringements related to e-commerce, suggestions on how to protect IP, how to collect evidence, and what the risks are for Italian Companies.
