The second session of the EU SME Centre’s Lean Management webinar series will go deeper into China specific questions. For example, behaviour of people differs greatly between state-owned, joint venture, private-owned, and wholly foreign-owned enterprises.
While the application of Lean Principles alone does not guarantee success, it is often a sign of companies which make good decisions. And for those who practice it, no matter what company structure, the ‘secret’ ingredient to make it work is respect for people and continuous improvement. The topics that will be covered in this webinar include:

About the Speaker
Speaker- Mr. Timo Schneemann, Manager, Staufen China
Timo started to work at Mercedes-Benz, covering the projects TPM Implementation Body Shop, Roadmap Production System, and Quality Push E-Class Final Assembly. As Project Manager of DE Global, he designed and implemented an on-the-job training related to parts localisation, a lean office system at a sourcing company, and a quality management system at 15 factories for precision wooden door components. As Director for Lean Management at Liebherr, he designed and implemented the Lean Transformation roadmap.
At Staufen, he has successfully applied Lean principles to complete various projects such as work cell set-up, material flow and layout planning, total productive maintenance, and development programmes for managers and high potentials. Staufen is an implementation oriented provider of consulting and training services that focuses on Lean Management, Procurement & Supplier Management, as well as Management and Leadership.
