Career Day – Guangzhou, April 11th, 2019

Dear Members and Friends,

The China Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to invite you to the second edition of the Guangzhou Career Day which will take place on April 11th at the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies （广州市白云区白云大道北2号广东外语外贸大学).

The event aims to provide a match-making platform between companies and candidates. The event will start at 13:00 until 17:00.

The Events will be open with a brief Seminar "Freshmen into labor market 101: how to face the labor market in the right way", provided by Wang Jing & Co. Law Firm, the speaker is Ms. Eloisa Hu, whose practice areas include Corporate, FDI, Commercial, Intellectual Property and Labor Law.

The Seminar will focus on basics of Chinese labor law and regulations for freshmen. The cut of the event will be practical so students or fresh graduated can easily understand their rights and obligation before embarking in any labor relationship adventure. This will include 

• Probation period terms: how to read through the lines and negotiating the right probation time.ow long, rights during probation period
• Labor contract essential elements: requirement for employment, salary system, work condition, etc.
• Termination and compensation: resignation; termination with one time severance; wrongful termination with double severance 
• brief introduction of working visas in case of international employee application.

Be sure to have your CV with you during the event.
