The European House-Ambrosetti
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) together with its member Ambrosetti China wish to offer CICC Members the possibility to connect and join the Webinar Live with Lucio Caracciolo (Director, Limes and School of Limes) titled: Revolution underway. Trump's first month, which will be held on next Friday 21 February 2025, 19.00– 20.00 Beijing time (12.00 – 13.00 Rome time).
During this meeting, participants will have the opportunity to discuss again with Lucio Caracciolo the most recent developments in geopolitics, which are now shaping the new global order.
In particular, participants will be able to deepen the understanding on how, in just a month since his official inauguration, Donald Trump has already implemented numerous changes and announced reforms and promises of even greater scope: a real revolution in progress!
At the end of the webinar, participants will have explored the following topics:
Lucio Caracciolo is a journalist, political scientist, economist and academic, considered one of the leading experts on geopolitics in Italy. He is the director of the magazine Limes, which he founded in 1993, and of the Eurasian Review of Geopolitics Heartland, founded in 2000. From 1973 to 1975 he was editor of the periodical Nuova Generazione, then moved to La Repubblica, where he worked until 1983 first as a political reporter and then as head of the political editorial. From 1986 to 1995 he was editor-in-chief of MicroMega. He is the author of numerous books, including: "Dawn of the Cold War – At the origin of the two Germanys" (Laterza 1986); "Terra incognita – The geopolitical roots of the Italian crisis" (Laterza 2001), etc.
