Event Recap | Enterprise Seminar in Suzhou, April 25th

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in collaboration with the Taicang Round Table (TRT), recently hosted an event titled "Enterprise Seminar: Exploring Resilience and Strength in Manufacturing Supply Chains" at the Inclusion Factory.

 

The seminar delved into strategic initiatives, vital for enterprises operating within this dynamic landscape. By assembling experts from various industries, the event aimed to dissect the current global industrial system and the diverse trends shaping supply chain dynamics.

 

Before the formal start of the event, attendees had the opportunity to take a short factory tour of the Inclusion Factory, a social enterprise dedicated to the employment of people with intellectual disabilities.

 

 

The event kicked off with a warm welcome and opening remarks from Mr. Richard Shen, General Manager of Auto-Kabel Harness (Taicang) Co., Ltd. He provided a comprehensive analysis of effective supply chain risk management strategies and optimizing regional supply chain layouts.

 

Following this, Mr. Pan Song, Head of Global Material Management at MANN+HUMMEL Group, shed light on leveraging the inherent value of the Chinese supply chain to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and discussed the impact of ESG factors on business operations.

 

 

The panel discussion featured insights from distinguished speakers representing various enterprises, including Riccardo Budriesi, CICC MEWG Coordinator & CEO at Marposs (Shanghai) Technologies Co., Ltd., and Fabio Valle, GM of Omet Mechanical Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd.

 

 

The event concluded with a lively Q&A session, providing attendees with the opportunity to engage further with the panelists and delve deeper into the topics discussed.
