2024 Italian Business Community Tour to Jiaxing Nanhu

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to invite you to participate at the event 2024 Italian Business Community Tour to Jiaxing Nanhu, which will take place on March 22nd, 2024 in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.   

The event is organized by CICC, together with Jiaxing Nanhu High-tech Industrial Park, and Plainvim International.

The initiative is designed to provide companies with a deep understanding of the business opportunities between the Italian community and the Jiaxing city, and to get in touch with local companies and potential new business partners.

The event will include a business promotional conference with Jiaxing Science City Government, followed by 3 companies visits based in the Nanhu district: Eurogroup Laminations, Field International and Cebi.

About the Jiaxing Nanhu High-Tech Zone (Jiaxing Science City)

Jiaxing Science City, which was founded in 2003, is designated as a national demonstration base of "mass entrepreneurship and Innovation". In late 2003, with the support of the then Party Secretary of Zhejiang, President Xi Jinping, Yangtze River Delta Institute of Tsinghua University Zhejiang settled down in Science City; subsequently in 2004, Zhejiang Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Science settled down in Jiaxing Science City.

The Nanhu High-Tech Zone has won the first place in the provincial evaluation of high-tech zones for 4 consecutive years and has been ranked among the top five provincial high-tech zones for 3 consecutive years.

In 2023, the total output value of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 53.031 billion yuan, including 16.02 billion yuan for new generation electronic information technology, 2.628 billion yuan for biopharmaceuticals, 21.817 billion yuan for high-end intelligent equipment, and 9.459 billion yuan for new materials.

EURO MISI LAMINATION JIAXING Co., Ltd. is a joint venture company between the Italian Eurogroup S.p.A. and Marubeni Itochu Steel Inc., with a commitment to make available all the leading technologies to produce rotor and stator laminations, cores, and assemblies for electric motors to customers in China.

The company continues to expand, with our recent acquisition of Marubeni Itochu’s production facility in Jiaxing, which has more than 12 years’ experience in producing laminations for high efficiency motor and generator applications.

Its capability now includes progressive blanking presses from 125 to 800-ton, rotor die casting, annealing, bondable coating, core assembly and robotic welding.

Field International 飞尔德

Incorporated in 1995, Field International Limited is a privately owned independent global engineering company, with the founders of the company having decades of experience in the precision engineering sector and particularly within the aerospace marketplace. Field International’s head office is in Poole, UK, it has invested heavily in new global regions and now boast engineering and manufacturing facilities in Singapore and China, and sales offices around the world.

Field is proactive in the aerospace and defense markets and offer subcontract services covering precision machining and engineering in any sector. It is proud to be the UK’s only official Airbus Tier 1 supplier and a Boeing aircraft tooling licensee. Field International continues to be a Tier 1 supplier to BAE Systems.

Cebi 杰必

Since 1976, Cebi Group has been manufacturing electromechanical products for the automotive and household appliance industries. Its product range covers components for temperature control and micromotors such as temperature sensors, fan motors, actuators for various applications or DC and gear motors. Cebi is the worldwide leader in automotive washer systems including pumps and various components. Cebi is the European leader in the temperature sensor and closing mechanism markets.
