The Logistic Working Group of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the Webinar "SHIPPING INDUSTRY: KEY TRENDS AND IMPACTS IN 2021 (AIR/SEA/RAILWAY)” was held online on May 13th, 2021.

With a worldwide vaccination effort underway, the global pandemic still impacting most regions of the world, and supply chain disruptions persisting, the transportation environment remained unpredictable as we moved into 2021. These uncertainties may continue at least through 2021.

During the webinar representatives of important Italian and Chinese companies located in China discussed about the key trends of the Shipping Industry.

 

Mr. Paolo Bazzoni, CICC Chairman opened the webinar, followed by an introduction of the Logistic Working Group by LWG Coordinator & Global Accounts Director Vertical Automotive China at Jas, Shanghai, by Mr. Mario Tasso.

The panel discussion was held by Mr. Gabriele Bessi, LWG Vice-Coordinator & Branch Manager at Savino Del Bene (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., with a general Introduction of the Key Trends and Impacts in 2021 for the Shipping Industry; Mr. Danilo Sergi Alampi, General Manager at Shanghai Capital Logistic Transport Co., Ltd., talking about the Container Shipping: Forecast 2021 and 2022; Mr. Mario Tasso regarding the AIR 2021: Capacity, Demand and Outlook before and after Covid-19; Ms. Jaqueline Hanlin Ni, Regional Cargo Sales Manager North Asia at Etihad Cargo showing the new opportunities in Air Cargo Solutions; Mr. Massimo Ragazzi, General Manager at OTIM Shanghai "Railway transport trend and possible scenarios"; Ms. Floral Xu, Marketing Center Manager at Yuxinou (Chongqing) Logistics Co., Ltd., "Railway Transportation – Case study: Yuxinou (Chongqing) Logistics Co., Ltd" and Mr. Ding Songbing, General Manager Marketing and Research Department at Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd with "Ocean/Sea Ports – Case study: Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd.".
