Responsibilities:

• Develop the local suppliers portfolio in a structured way:
  • Identification of needs in each family of suppliers
  • Identification & shortlisting of potential suppliers
  • Evaluation & Qualification of suppliers
• Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation) process and present consultation results
• Put in place frame agreements with key suppliers if & when needed
• Regularly measure the performance of the suppliers (monthly KPI, yearly appraisal…)
• Other tasks assigned by General Manager & Group Purchasing Manager

Requirements:

• Chinese citizen
• Bachelor degree or above, minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Familiar with supplier development, evaluation, selection, and management procedures
• Previous experience in a Foreign company is a plus
• Proficiency in English (oral & writing) & Mandarin, French is not required but would be a plus
• Good knowledge of office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers
• Ability to read technical drawings, good general technical knowledge (mechanical, electrical, automation…)
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in managing files
