Description

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is looking for interns for our office in Beijing for the following tasks*:

1. Assistance to the Beijing Office Team (events and services);

2. Assistance to the Communications Department.

*Please note that the positions listed above are two different types of internships; each candidate must choose and specify which one they are applying for.

 

TASKS 

  • Beijing Office Internship 

As an intern at the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, you will be part of our team, providing support to the Chamber’s daily activities.

Under the Office Manager’s guidance and instructions, you will be responsible in supporting for the following tasks:

  • Organizing the planned activities and events;
  • Organizing fairs and exhibitions, including the coordination with any third parties involved;
  • Implementing and promptly executing the Information Service, by dispatching information based on inquiries received in a timely manner;
  • Office management related to coordination with IT supplier, office suppliers order, organization and update of the archive and any other tasks the Office Manager might deem to involve him/her into, etc.

 

  • Communication Internship

Under the Communications Manager’s guidance and instructions, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Update the CICC website daily to ensure accuracy and relevance;
  • Contribute to the creation of articles for official CICC communication channels;
  • Assist in drafting internal communication messages to ensure alignment across all offices and events promotion;
  • Help manage and update social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram;
  • Design engaging flyers to promote CICC events and initiatives;
  • Support the collection of communication materials from various CICC offices;
  • If needed, provide support in managing relationships with IT suppliers.

 

REQUIREMENTS

Beijing Office Internship:

  • Good command of Chinese and English (both oral and written);
  • Proficiency in Office software such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Pro-activeness, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, independent in organizing his/her job;
  • Good organization skills and high level of reliability;
  • Good communication skills and easy to interact with clients and third parties;
  • Previous experience in this field is a plus.
  • Currently based in China.

Communication Internship:

  • Good command of Chinese and English (both oral and written);
  • Proficiency in Office software such as Word and PowerPoint but also in content design software such as Canva (proficiency in the Adobe Suite is a plus);
  • Pro-activeness, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, independent in organizing his/her job;
  • Good organization skills;
  • Creativity and passion for the communication sector;
  • Demonstrates proactiveness and a willingness to share innovative ideas.
  • Currently based in China.
