Event Recap | Careers Insights for Intern Students in China

On July 30th, 2024, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) hosted an insightful webinar titled "Career Insights for International Students in China" attracting around 30 attendees. The event provided a valuable platform for international students to explore career opportunities in China.

To begin with, Ms. Elisa Qiu, Manager of the CICC Suzhou Office, opened the webinar by introducing the CICC and its role as a bridge between international students and Italian enterprises.

"Education is more than acquiring skills! It's about developing a mindset that embraces continuous learning and adaptability. In the rapidly evolving job market, these qualities are invaluable and will set you apart from others" - Dr. Francesco Macheda followed with an overview of the current job market and industry trends.

"It's essential to align your career goals with the demands of the job market. Research the industries you're interested in, network with professionals, and be proactive in seeking opportunities. Remember, your career journey is a marathon, not a sprint." - Ms. Rosa Luo then offered practical career planning and job search strategies.

"Persistence and passion are key to a successful career. My journey was filled with challenges but staying focused on my goals and being passionate about my work helped me overcome them. I encourage you all to find what you love and pursue it relentlessly." - Mr. Giacomo Bove concluded by sharing his career journey in China, inspiring students with his success story

The webinar ended with an engaging Q&A session, allowing attendees to interact directly with the speakers.
