Round table between Delegation of the Emilia Romagna & CICC LWG

On 27th June, a round table was held between the Logistics Working Group of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and the delegation from the Emilia Romagna region, visiting Shanghai on the occasion of the Transport Logistic China exhibition at SNIEC.

The event was organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, the Italian Trade Agency Shanghai Office in cooperation with the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce.

The delegation, led by Andrea Corsini, Emilia Romagna Region councillor for mobility, transport and infrastructure, tourism and commerce, promoted the port of Ravenna as an important hub together with the port infrastructures.

The following representatives of the Logistic Working Group took part in the discussion:

- Mario Tasso, Vice Coordinator of the LWG and Regional Account Manager APAC at JAS Global Forwarding;

- Andrea Bongini, Vice Coordinator of LWG and Trade Lane Manager Italy for Central & Northern China at Savino Del Bene (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. 

- Danilo Sergi Alampi, General Manager of Shanghai Capital Logistic Transport Co. Sisam Group;

- Andrea De Sio, General Manager of GF Logistics China Limited.

The group provided an insightful introduction to the mission and objectives of the Working Group, and an overview of trade between China and Italy and market trends, with a look at future outlook.
