IPeritif is back in Shanghai, March 14th

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) and its Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) are glad to invite you to the first IPeritif of 2024!

It will be the first of a networking events series in Shanghai and it will be held at the Italian Restaurant, PASTIFICIO MOMÉNTI on Thursday, March 14th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.

IP Session highlights:

Carlo Geremia, IPWG Vice-coordinator and Senior Counsel of ADVANT Nctm in Shanghai,will set the stage by presenting a concise overview of the IPWG's significant activities over the past two years.

An IP Discussion will follow by Simona Inchigalo, aerospace engineer and partner at Bugnion Spa. It will explore the European Unitary Patent and the newly launched Unitary Patent Court, unraveling the implications for the global IP landscape.

Elle H, China Legal Director at Prada Group, will share through the lens of personal experiences the challenges faced by the IP and fashion world in the past year.

The discussion will be moderate by Fabio Giacopello, senior partner at HFG LAW & IP and Coordinator if the IPWG, that also will introduce the program for the next 2-years term just started.

Simona Inchingalo

Aerospace Engineer and Partner at BUNIONG SPA

Aerospace Engineering graduated at Polytechnic University of Milan, Simona Inchingalo is partner at BUGNION Spa, a major European IP firm. She is in charge of managing the patent and design portfolios of Italian and international clients and since 2015 she has been the head of the Validation Department. Simona is also Qualified Litigator for the upcoming Unified Patent Court.

Carlo Geremia

IPWG Vice-coordinator and Senior Counsel of ADVANT Nctm in Shanghai

Carlo Geremia is a Counsel of ADVANT Nctm in Shanghai. His practice focused on cross-border investments, corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters between China and Italy. He has an extensive experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint venture, greenfield projects IP and regulatory compliance matters in relation to a variety of industries.  Carlo Geremia is one of the few Italian arbitrators of the Shanghai Arbitration Commission. He has managed many corporate transactions in China. Carlo has also a solid and proved experience in advising and assisting primary international and Chinese groups in Italy.
