Call for tenders: Festival Italiano, July 2nd-5th, Shanghai

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is organizing the event “Festival Italiano”, that will be held from July 2nd till July 5th, at Columbia Circle, in Shanghai.​

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

The Italian Festival will offer to the local and international audience an "Italian" experience, a journey through the excellencies that make Italy a global benchmark in several sectors, such as F&B, fashion, advanced technologies, art, music, culture, tourism, design, innovation, just to mention some of the distinctive Italian traits.

It’s all about an Italian experience, celebrating Italy’s culture with products displays, Italian songs, interesting seminars, Italian movies and of course authentic Italian food!

A FOUR-DAY PROGRAM WITH ACTIVITIES FOCUSED ON THE PROMOTION OF MADE IN ITALY THROUGH:

• An outdoor exhibition with Made in Italy excellence: cultural Italian associations, automotive brands, fashion, healthcare, food and beverage, tourism, interior design and Italian performers
• Promotion activities of Made in Italy to be scheduled, in particular:
  • Seminars on specific topics (fashion, design, mechanics, tourism, culture, etc.)
  • Recreational activities such as karaoke, projection of Italian movies, Italian aperitivo, sports activities, live shows and so on

THE CICC IS LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING TENDERS:

1. Companies and associations, that are interested in having a booth within the Italian outdoor market. Each actor involved will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their products-services within their booth.

Booth Price:

• 1500 RMB CICC Members
• 500 RMB Associations (2 Associations will share 1 booth – no selling allowed)
• 3000 RMB Non-Members

2. Sponsor companies that will have their own dedicated exhibition area.

Sponsor price:

• 8000 RMB

3. Associations that want to organize activities during the Italian festival (participation free of charge).

4. Performers are interested in participating through musical performances, entertainment (participation free of charge).

Equipment for exhibitors:

• Tent - 1 table - 2 chairs - electricity
• Your Company Logo on the tent

APPLICATION PROCESS

• Send an email, including your company’s presentation and your proposal if you are an association (at least one proposal activity) to infoshanghai@cameraitacina.com to express your interest within June 5th, 2020, 6 pm
• CICC will contact you regarding the details of the event
• After evaluating your proposal, CICC will feedback you regarding the result

PARTICIPATION TERMS

• Participation in tendering is open to CICC Members and non-Members and Italian associations
• Companies competing in the tender must have the necessary knowledge and experience and have the technical support and personnel capable to run the tender
• Each company can submit only one tender
• The tender is to be drafted in Italian or English, filled in and signed
• It is the responsibility of the tenderer to study the specification and requirements before submitting the tender

EVALUATION CRITERIA

• CICC will give priority to its Members and it will select the first submitted bid meeting the standards required
• If no applications are submitted by the Members of the Chamber, the Chamber has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-Member companies

Please note that the amount and length of benefits will be subject only to the sponsorship offered.

EXCLUSION FROM TENDER

• In case of not meeting the conditions of the tendering process
• In case of non-conformity with the hereby open call for tender
• In case of submitting false data
• Late submission

Deadline: June 5th, 2020.

The results about the tendering shall be announced by email after proper evaluation.
