Post Event - Webinar: "Start-up business for entrepreneurs in China during COVID-19 - 15th April 2020"

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the webinar "Start-up business for entrepreneurs in China during COVID-19" was successfully held on 15th of April with the collaboration of the British Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (BritCham) and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (CanCham).

The Coronavirus outbreak has created impacts to all of our life, it has affecting hundreds of thousands people. It is also having a growing impact on the global economy.

This webinar intended to provide business leaders with a perspective on the evolving situation and implications for their companies.

The meeting was moderated by Matt Whately, Deputy Director of CanCham in Shanghai, who introduced Mathieu Cormier, Executive Director of CanCham in Shanghai, Emanuela Vizzarro, CICC Shanghai Office Manager and a representative from BritCham for  welcome greetings. 

The webinar continued with the following topics and speakers:

•  "How to employ talent in China" by Kristina Koehler-Coluccia, Head of Business at Woodburn Accountants & Advisors who proposed solutions for brands looking to employ new talents, exploring best practices in terms of interviewing and analyzing the capability of a new company member.

•  " Startup hold up and re- start , how to rethink enterprises model in order to create and maintain companies equity value in this moment at home and in China" by Cristiana Barbatelli, CEO at Barbatelli & Partners Management Consultant Co. Ltd. (Shanghai)

• Following "Life & Death - rebuilding your business admist this crisis" by Brian Tam, Creativity Consultant at Let's Make Great!

The webinar was followed by a Q&A session during which participants had the opportunity to ask their questions to the speakers.
