POST EVENT: 3rd edition of the “Giro d’Italia”, 12 October 2019

Dear Members and Friends of the CICC,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the 3rd edition of the “Giro d’Italia”, was successfully held on October 12, 2019 at the Embassy of Italy in the P.R.C. in Beijing, China.  

“Giro d’Italia” has been held with the aim of offering to the local public an exquisite Italian experience throughout the showcase of Italian products and lifestyle. The guests have been able to cherish Italy’s heritage and culture by walking through an exhibition that offered a variety of authentic Italian delicacies. Furthermore, the participants had the possibility of immerging themselves into the true “Made in Italy” brand realities of art & design, tourism and music.

During the institutional greetings, Giuseppe Fedele Minister Counsellor - Embassy of Italy in the PRC, manifested gratitude to all the participants including guests, companies and institutional representatives for their presence at such a culturally impacting event. He was delighted to see many Chinese citizens actively experiencing a taste of Italianness. 

Giulia Gallarati, Secretary General of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), welcomed all the guests and Companies participating at the event. 

This edition of “Giro d’Italia” was enriched by the noble cause of charity work. In fact, the revenues of this event will help the China Foundation for the Alleviation of Poverty to build sport facilities in the disadvantaged district of Yunnan Province.

CICC would like to thank the Embassy of Italy in the P.R.C. for the support and all the companies involved at the event for their cooperation.

CICC would also like to express a special thank to the Italian Cultural Institute for organizing cultural entertainment during the event through projections and live exhibitions.
