The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) with the support of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai & Suzhou Municipal Government, is organizing the 16th edition of the Suzhou Appreciation Meeting, which will be held on November 29th, 2024, at SIP Shangri-La Hotel.
This event aims to provide a platform for dialogue between Italian businesses, the Suzhou government, and the Italian government, thereby promoting the establishment and growth of Italian companies in Suzhou.

During this seminar, Guangzhou based lawyer Caroline Berube will give a practical overview of recent changes in tax law and labour law in China. The following will be discussed along with practical examples: 1. Social insurance law: new obligations for companies and foreign employees; 2. Employment of foreign employees: new challenges and strategy for companies in China; 3. Income tax law: new rules for both Chinese and foreign employees; 4.
