The main objective of this seminar is to allow business people to get better at their work, grow faster and improve their productivity. This time we invite Mr. Eddy Yiu, the principal consultant and solution architect for Bedford Technologies Limited and the senior lecturer of Thetalearning to introduce the latest smart phone and tablet applications which help improve work efficiency and management of business affairs. Bedford was founded by a group of IT professionals with backgrounds from different multinationals. It provides Point-of-Sale (POS), Enterprises Resources Planning (ERP) solutions especially for small-to-medium size enterprises in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. Over the years, C6 Systems have been successfully deployed across thousands of workstations in Greater China and Singapore in the headquarters of publicly listed companies as well as small start-ups. Speaker: Mr. Eddy Yiu: is a professional in IT consulting, IT solution development and operations management. With a profound interest in operations management, he started his career in logistics operations in multi-national companies namely Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) and Procter and Gamble (P&G). In 1996, Eddy founded Bedford Technologies with other partners and now he serves as its principal consultant and solution architect. He is also visiting lecturer and guest speaker in the Industrial & Information Engineering Department of the Hong Kong Polytechnics University. Eddy regularly delivers lectures and structured short courses connected to enterprise solutions, industrial system simulation, supply chain management, e-business case studies and logistics management to different diploma, degree and master classes.
