Wellness Seminar

Guangzhou
02 November 2010
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to invite you to attend to the WELLNESS SEMINAR" organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and addressed to foreign executives working in China. Today’s working environment in China can be extremely stressing for foreign executives. Rushing around business opportunities, long office hours and double shifts to catch up with US and European working hours, dificulties to handle cultural and Language barriers, can make foreign executives weeks very long and stressful. The results of such lifestyle, especially if not balanced, might bring to under-motivated and over-stressed individuals. We focus on things that sap our energy and strength versus replenish them, creating a vicious cycle that is difficult to break, a cycle that results in unhappy employees, unhappy employers, and less satisfaction in life and career. What if it was possible to break the vicious cycle and begin to focus on the things that bring you energy instead of take it away? Modern science has proven that the right balance in nutrition and physical activity can bring to a better life style. This presentation will focus on how to balance your energy through your life-style and create a “Powerful Mind and a Powerful Body”.   Speaker's profile 2009 Men’s Health Magazine China Award Winner Sascha Telen has been a fitness trainer and wellness expert for 10 years, and located in Guangzhou for 5 years.   He finds inspiration in his environment and his unique, energizing style and philosophy are a result of his global influences. Sascha learned discipline from his German heritage, motivation from the training culture of the United States, and the importance of balance from living in China. Sascha is the Managing Director of ST, which provides tailor made wellness individual and group programs for foreign and Chinese middle and top managers in South China. ST programs consist on a mixture of training and nutritional behaviors aiming in adjusting current lifestyles toward a more sustainable, enduring and healthier ones. Major clients include Procter & Gamble for which ST provide bi-weekly classes and a long list of middle and top managers living in South China.
