Dear Members and Friends,   The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) together with its Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG) is pleased to announce a new session of the Company Visit Series to Camozzi Automation Control Shanghai (SCAC) on April 10th, 2024.   This series was created to provide participants with insights and valuable business lessons by sharing the expertise of successful companies based in China. The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) would like to announce the date for the next CICC Networking Dinner has been postponed. The previously announced date was August 22, postponed to the new date of August 29.   The Sino-Italian business community in Shanghai will have the chance to meet for a buffet dinner together at Bella Napoli in Changle Road.   The networking event will take place on Tuesday, August 29 at Bella Napoli from 7:00  to 9:30 pm. Registration will begin at 6:30 pm.   To register, please click here.         Bella Napoli is a little slice of Italy, where they’re devoted to serving authentic southern Italian dishes of the highest quality since 2006. As a matter of fact, 80% of the ingredients used come straight away from Italy. Located in a neighborhood alley in the former French Concession, the restaurant is not on the street but rather in a discreet and quiet alley that can be accessed from two streets, one entrance is from Changle Road, another from Hua Shan Road. There you can find homemade pasta, as well as their signature thin crust Neapolitan pizza baked in a wood-fired oven made out of 1.800 handcrafted bricks imported directly from Salerno, the owner’s hometown, to bring the same experience to Shanghai that you would have in Italy.     ABOUT OUR MONTHLY NETWORKING DINNER The event is part of a series of networking dinners that we are hosting monthly in Shanghai, to give people a chance to mingle and network in a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere.  There is no better setting than good food and good wine to accompany conviviality!  We hold these dinners each time at a different venue picking from Italian restaurants in Shanghai.  The event is open to CICC Members and Non-Members!     Check out the last Networking Dinner we held at Senso Italian Restaurant this month by clicking here.       Any questions about the dinner? The fair will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai from September 19th to 23rd, in hall 1.1.     Launched for the first time in 1999, the CIIF is a leading fair for high-end, smart, and green manufacturing in China and an important platform for international trade, communication, and cooperation.     After the success of the 2020 edition and a hiatus because of COVID in 2021 and 2022, this year Italy returns to the CIIF 2023 with an Italian Pavilion of 1,300 square meters and more than 50 companies, which will showcase their innovative and advanced technologies and their new products to the Chinese public. The Italian Pavilion is organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and ITA - Italian Trade Agency, with the support of the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C. and the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai.
