The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), together with its Human Resources Working Group (HRWG), is pleased to invite you to its upcoming seminar “The Hidden Formula of Great Teams: Building Workplaces That Speak Up and Win Together” to be held on Tuesday, December 9th, starting from 17:30 at the CBS Sunrise Office, Shanghai (Room 4601-03, 46F, East Tower, No. 1089 Dongdaming Road, Raffles City the Bund, Hongkou District, Shanghai, 上海市虹口区东大名路1089号北外滩来福士广场东塔46楼4601-03室). This event will provide a platform for leaders and HR professionals to explore how to help teams perform and thrive across cultures.

WHY PARTICIPATE?

This interactive seminar combines a workshop and a panel discussion with top executives to explore what makes teams effective and how leaders can build environments where people collaborate with confidence, express ideas freely, and learn from mistakes. Drawing on insights from Google’s Aristotle Project, the session will show that team success depends not on individual talent, but on internal dynamics such as mutual listening, balanced communication, and emotional awareness. Through real examples from Italian managers working with Chinese teams, participants will reflect on how responses to vulnerability can transform a working environment from defensive to collaborative. They will also gain practical tools and strategies to foster trust, confidence, and initiative, building more cohesive, motivated, and innovative teams capable of working effectively between Italy and China.
