The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) proudly announces the organization of the Italy Meets China: Wuxi Focus - 2024 CICC-Xishan Business Trip, slated to be held on May 28th, 2024, at Yingyuehu Science Park.
The seminar aims to promote close cooperation and exchanges between Chinese and Italian companies, to promote dialog and economic and trade cooperation, and to build bridges of communication between companies.
Through purposeful sessions and networking opportunities, participants will have the opportunity to delve into various avenues for cooperation, investment, and innovation. This event serves as a vital platform for industry leaders and innovators to come together, share insights, and explore synergies that can drive advancements in industry delivery and technology.
About Wuxi Xishan District
Xishan District is the eastern gateway of Wuxi City, covering a total area of 399 square kilometers with a resident population of about 900,000. It governs the national-level Xishan Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xidong New Town Business District, four towns, and five streets. As the sub-center of Wuxi City and the "bridgehead" of Wuxi's integration into the Shanghai metropolitan area, Xidong New Town has become one of the most promising and dynamic regions in the city. In 2023, the region's GDP reached 125.986 billion yuan. Currently, the district boasts over 7,000 industrial enterprises, including 1,112 enterprises above designated size and 365 enterprises with output value exceeding 100 million yuan.
