The monthly networking Dinner is back in Shanghai on January 30th. Special business networking edition with guided tour of the exhibition BEAUTY CHANGES: 100 Years of Italian Fashion and Costume.
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is delighted to announce that our networking dinner returns to Shanghai on January 30th, and debuts for the first time in 2024 in a special format, combined with an exclusive guided tour of the stunning exhibition BEAUTY CHANGES: 100 Years of Italian Fashion and Costume.
Held in Bund 33, an over 170-year-old historical building on the Bund, this exhibition traces back the origin and evolution of the identity and influence of Italian fashion from the 1900s to the present. Valuable treasures from three major sectors of Italian culture - fashion, opera and cinema - offer visitors an overview of the “decisive moments” in the century-long history of Italian fashion. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the exhibition, which will only be in town until the end of February.
Following the visit, we will move on to spend the evening at one of the most well-known and famous Italian restaurants on the bund, Goodfellas.
Come and meet the Italian business community in China, with an Italian menu and wine!

BEAUTY CHANGES: 100 Years of Italian Fashion and Costume，supported by the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, the Italian Cultural Institute of Shanghai, features over a hundred valuable exhibits of national treasures, including authentic garments, original sketches, magazines, images and videos. The 12 spaces of Bund 33 are designed as theatrical stages that showcase the works of over 20 internationally acclaimed fashion designers, such as Maria Monaci Gallenga, the first Italian modern fashion "godmother" to walk the world stage; Emilio Schuberth, one of the founders of Italian high fashion, who introduced the Italian aesthetic to Hollywood; Roberto Capucci, one of Italy's most dazzling fashion "geniuses", known as an "architect of clothing"; the Sorelle Fontana, the taste-makers who worked to set the fashion trends during the golden age of Hollywood; Emilio Pucci, the "Prince of Prints"; Giorgio Armani, the founder of Armani; and Valentino Garavani, the founder of Valentino.
About our monthly networking dinner
The event is part of a series of networking dinners that we are hosting monthly in Shanghai, to give people a chance to mingle and network in a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
There is no better setting than good food and good wine to accompany conviviality!
We hold these dinners each time at a different venue picking from Italian restaurants in Shanghai.
The event is open to CICC Members and Non-Members!
