The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to invite you July 13 in Shanghai and online for an engaging and insightful workshop on the cosmetics industry.
The meeting will delve into the dynamic sector of cosmetics and explore the latest trends and regulations in China, one of the largest beauty markets in the world. This workshop will provide you with valuable insights to enter the market, navigate its complex regulatory environment and remain in compliance with the current regulations and standards.
During this event organized by the EU SME Centre and China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, two keynote speakers will present the recent market development, retailing and licensing processes, with presentations specifically tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises. This workshop will guide you to discover practical strategies to navigate the complexities of the Chinese legal framework and help you to avoid any potential pitfalls.
This workshop will be held in English. It is free of charge and open to all interested SMEs from European Union Member States and countries participating in the Single Market Programme.
The event will be moderated by Renzo Isler, Secretary General of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Coordinator of the EU SME Centre Project - Phase IV.

ChinaSkinny Senior Manager
Iris Zuo has been with China Skinny since 2019 and has led a number of research, strategy and digital execution projects in the consumer-packaged goods space, with clients spanning Australia, Europe and North America.
In addition, she has led projects in tourism, education and government which has provided her with a wide perspective into Chinese consumer behavior. She has a Master’s degree in Accounting and Marketing from the University of Sydney, and an undergraduate degree from the UK.

Studio Zunarelli Associate
Andrea Sorgato is a lawyer practicing in Healthcare & Life Sciences legal advice sector for over twenty years, by providing legal and regulatory advice to Cosmetic Companies, Cosmetics Trade Associations and Public Institutions about all issues related to the Cosmetics Chinese market: manufacturing, registering, importing, marketing, relationships with distributors and entrusted producers, compliance with related Good Practices, IP protection, etc.
He is coordinator for China of the Healthcare Desk at Zunarelli Studio Legale Associato – Shanghai office, and he is member of HCWG of the CICC China-Italy Chamber of Commerce. He is member of the editorial board of law magazines specialized in Healthcare & Life Sciences. He does a speaker in events and seminars on Cosmetics and Healthcare sector.

Adiacent Business Development Specialist
Laura Billocci is a Business Development Specialist at Adiacent China, the largest Italian digital agency in China, part of SESA Group (SES.MI). By identifying opportunities for their company, she directly fuels the business growth and optimize marketing strategies.
She is author of the first China Digital Index Report on cosmetics, whose objective is to observe the positioning of Italian beauty brands in Chinese digital and social channels.
She has a Master’s Degree in International Business at the University of Chongqing, and an undergraduate degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation at the University of Siena, Italy.
