POST EVENT: Return flight of Italian entrepreneurs to China_July 3rd, 2020

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC), in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in the P.R.C., the Italian diplomatic network in China and the support of the Italian airline NEOS organised the return to China of around 150 managers, employees, Italians and their families.

The flight departed yesterday Thursday, 2nd July at 4:16 p.m. from Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) and landed today in Nanjing Lukou International Airport (NKG) at 9:44 a.m.

Upon arrival at the airport of Nanjing, the passengers were welcomed by representatives of the Italian Commercial Consul in Shanghai Ludovica Murazzani, and by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce staff, the Secretary General Giulia Gallarati, the Board Member Ermanno Vitali and the Beijing Office Coordinator Valentina Rigoni.

Following the necessary customs’ procedures, including the anti-COVID-19 test, passengers were brought to the designated hotel where they will carry out the quarantine period.

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all the actors involved in this important project. The success of the operation - and the speed with which it was implemented - highlighted the priority attention given by the Italian Institutions to the business community in China in response to the current situation of emergency.

The anti-COVID-19 tests that the passengers underwent were all negative.
