On March 28th, the Forum “Symposium on High-Quality Development of Wuxi” took place in Wuxi (Jiangsu) during the Wuxi Cherry Blossom Festival 2018.
The Forum was officiated by Mr. Huang Qin, the mayor of Wuxi, together with representatives of local and international institutions. Consulates General in Shanghai (U.S.A, Japan, Ireland, Switzerland and Singapore) and several entrepreneurs were present in the forum which focused on the results obtained in the city during the last years in technological innovation, project investments, and industrial clusters related to Internet of Things, Bio-medical and New Energy.
The member of China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Exprivia IT Solutions (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. represented by Executive Director Simone Ciampi, participated to the Forum on behalf of the three Italian Institutions operating in Shanghai (Consulate General of Italy, Italian Trade Agency, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce). Simone Ciampi made a speech highlighting the Italian presence in the city and the importance of the Italian System with its numerous accomplishments in China, such as the Sino-Italian District in Chengdu and the Sino-Italian integrated Elderly Care System in Hangzhou.
