Care & Rehabilitation Expo China 2009

From September 10^th to September 12^th 2009, in Beijing it will be held the Care & Rehabilitation Expo China, the biggest exhibition in the rehabilitation field in China and the only one directly sponsored by Chinese government Departments: China Disabled Person`s Federation and China National Ageing Committee.

The aim of the show is to improve the living condition and human rights of the disabled and aged people in China. Chinese government made policies in 2006 to buy a huge amount of assistive products for these people and distribute them for free.
The problem is that China is technically backward in this field. The market value is around RMB 1 trillion nowadays, but China itself could only produce one/tenth.
For this reason the Organizing Committe is looking for new technologies and more products.
In Oct 2009, Beijing will establish a rehab exhibition center with a size of 4000sm. To decorate this center, Chinese government will buy products worth RMB 3million as exhibiting models. The center will be open in May, 2010. There will be around 100,000 people who will go to visit, learn and study the center each year, so it will be an everlasting advertisement for the rehab company. Other provincial cities will build their owns like Shanghai, etc..
