All the guests enjoyed the dinner, which provided moments of entertainment and emotion: Simona Molinari performed live some of her greatest hits and introduced her new single Forse (Maybe). A special appearance next to Simona by Danny Diaz delighted the audience, the duet singing an exhilarating version of “Que sera, sera”. CICC wishes to thank Isola degli Artisti and GrandAsia for their support in organizing Simona Molinari’s live concert.

A dedicated section of the event presented to the public the video of Ospitalità Italiana, an advertisement depicting how Italian cuisine abroad can nonetheless be the expression of genuine Italian tradition and ingredients. CICC will repeat in 2011 the same screening process as in 2010, to award 16 Italian restaurants in China the Ospitalita’ Italiana certificate. The Italian restaurants, the media and the Chinese business operators and consumers attending the event were all invited to join the certification process, helping promote Italian restaurants in China.

In the framework of the “Italian System” in China, the future use of the Italian Pavilion at the Expo Park as envisaged by Shanghai Expo Group was introduced.

The lucky draw of the many raffle prizes offered by member companies of the CICC concluded the evening.
We especially thank Costa Cruises, Jia Hotel and Airfrance for having donated the first three prizes, and we acknowledge the precious contribution given by all the companies which sponsored the Italian Grand Gala 2011 in Shanghai.
