Launch of the International Network on Sustainability ECEB Network

The creation of an "International Network for Sustainable Urban Development in China", based on a cooperation starting first between all Chambers of Commerce in Shanghai, and then involving all players - companies, NGOs, institutions, etc - has the aim of promoting sustainability in China, from the Chinese side as well as from the international community side.

The event will officially celebrate the launch of the International Network on Sustainability ECEB Network: an interactive opportunity to create a long term online/offline platform for our international community and to generate a combined impact within the Chinese market on the topics of sustainable urban development.
ECEB Network will offer to all users the potential to find synergies between all those initiatives that are running currently, in order to foster communication and sharing. Benefit would be an accelerated pace in the development of projects in China for sustainability, thanks to a higher impact from combined actions. 

The network will work:

• offline, with a series of regular events, starting from today`s launch event. This would enable the sharing as well as the generation of higher interest from Chinese partners, due to the volume of foreign interest nurturing the network. Event series should focus on high level debate series, where we foster the exchange, in order to promote solutions.
• online, with the very innovative online professional networking tool ECEBnet that combines the best of existing online technologies and tools (best of facebook, wikipedia, small world, etc in one!) for the purpose of an ongoing communication, sharing of ideas and information, focusing only on sustainable development in China. This online network enables the users to go beyond the events onto a continuous and systematic sharing, and achieve a constant visibility on the market.
