CICC Members Annual General Meeting

The Members of the China - Italy Chamber of Commerce are kindly invited to attend the Annual General Meeting, which will be held on 27^th March 2009, Friday, at 10:00 am, at the Italian Cultural Office of the Italian Embassy in Beijing (2, San Li Tun Dong Er Jie) with the following agenda:

1.    Welcoming speech by His Excellency the Ambassador Riccardo Sessa
2.    Chairman’s 2008 CICC Activities Report
3.    Welcoming address by Mr. Antonino Laspina,
4.    Treasurer on 2008 Financial Report
5.    Secretary General’s report on Budget and Activity Program for the year 2009
6.    Proposal for the increase of the membership fee for the year 2010
7.    AOB

According to Art. 11 of the CICC Articles of Association, only the Members who already renewed their membership for the year 2009 are entitled to attend the Meeting.

Those Members who still have not settled the 2009 Membership may pay the annual fee following the procedure indicated on our website www.cameraitacina.com or upon registration, which will start at 9:30am, on the day when the Annual General Meeting is held.

We kindly remind that, whom of you will not be able to attend the meeting personally, could be allowed to discharge the Balance-Income-Expense Sheet by means of one of the following ways:

1) Electronic Vote on www.cameraitacina.com:

  - log-in yourself on www.cameraitacina.com;
  - after the log-in you will be directed to the home page, where in the upper right corner you can see the voting box;
- under the box, there are the links to all the documents you have to take note to express your own electoral preference;
  - the electronic vote is operative from the 20^th of March to Thursday the 26^th of March, 2009, at 00:00 pm.

2) Proxy: Each Member can be represented by other members who hold a writing proxy, compiled by drawing up the attached form. Members with proxy are kindly requested to hand it to the Chairman before the beginning of the Meeting. Each Member can hold only one proxy.

Please confirm your attendance by filling the registration slip  and return it via e-mail (redazione@cameraitacina.com) or via fax (+86-10-85910546) within 25^th March 2009, Wednesday, at 6 pm.

The registration will start at 9:30 am, after the Meeting the CICC will offer a buffet lunch.
