On February the 15th in Milan hosted the award ceremony for the sixth edition of the Project “Italian Hospitality Seal – Italian Restaurants in the World”.

 

Star of the evening was “That’s AMORE – Italian Restaurant”, located in Shanghai, (http://www.thatsamore.it/), one of the seven most voted Italian restaurants in the world and the first in the Asia – South Africa ranking.

The winning restaurateurs, ambassadors of the Italian food and wine culture and tradition, were awarded by the President of the National Institute for Touristic Research (IS.NA.R.T.), Maurizio Maddaloni, the vice president of the European Commission, Antonio Tajani, and the President of Unioncamere, Ferruccio Dardanello. Below are some photos of the evening.

“The Italian Hospitality Seal Project– Italian Restaurants in the World” is a project sponsored jointly by Unioncamere, in collaboration with the Italian Federation of Public Affairs (F.I.P.E.) and with the support of the National Institute for Touristic Research (IS.NA.R.T.). Over the past year 720 restaurants have been certified, 16 of which were in the People’s Republic of China. The 2012 certifications are currently in progress.
