Students from the secondary school A. Pigafetta visiting China

At the Auditorium of the Italian Cultural Office in Beijing a group of students from the secondary school A. Pigafetta from Vicenza met H.E. the Ambassador of Italy to China, Mr. Riccardo Sessa, the Chairman of the CICC, Mr. Davide Cucino, the First Secretary, Mr. Pietro Sferra Carini, Technological Innovation and Industrial Attaché, Mr. Giuseppe Rao and the Cultural Attaché, Mr. Claudio Poeta, ENIT activities liason officer in China, Ms. Cristina Lambiase and the Secretary General of the CICC, Ms. Luisa Bergonzoni.

The students are among the first students in Italy who will deliver their school leaving examination in Chinese language. A. Pigafetta is in fact the first of the 2 Italian schools in Italy which have educational programs for learning chinese as alternative language during the secondary school. The school brought the students in China for a visiting tour before the examination. They visited the cities of Shanghai and Beijing, had the chance to meet other students from Chinese Universities and exchange views of their lives with them. During the meeting at the Embassy the students heard the speech of the Ambassador Sessa and the other representatives. They had the occasion to hear about the positive outputs coming from keep learning the Chinese language at the University and to receive some inputs in order to orientate their choice after the examination.
