Italy-China July Charter Flight: Reservations Open

The Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C. and the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) are pleased to inform that reservations for the previously announced July charter flight are now open.

The charter flight will operate on the route Milan – Nanjing (only one leg) according to the following schedule:

• July 17th, 2022 | Milan (MXP) 21.50 - Nanjing (NKG) 15.20

Please note that the Embassy of Italy has already obtained the authorizations from the Chinese authorities also for other two charter flights scheduled respectively for August and September. The arrangements for these flights are ongoing. We invite you to follow closely our official channels, as updates regarding dates, booking procedures and related info will be published promptly, as they become available.

RESERVATIONS OPEN FOR JULY FLIGHT

Reservations are now open for the July charter flight (as per the authorizations, only the Milan-Nanjing leg). All those who have responded to our Calls for Interest expressing their intention to travel on the July flight will receive instructions on how to proceed with the booking according to the order of priority detailed below.

PRIORITY FOR CICC MEMBERS

The booking process will comply with the following order of priorities:

  1. CICC Members of Italian nationality (including their spouse and children): priority window from June 21st to June 24th;
  2. Italian nationals and non-Italian CICC Members: priority window from June 25th until July 4th;
  3. Others (in case of remaining available seats): from July 5th until July 11th.

Bookings will follow the abovementioned priorities and will be based on the “first come, first served” rationale. As in previous years, each priority will have a dedicated booking timeframe before opening up to the next category.

BOOKING DETAILS

1. BOOKING PROCESS

  • Those who answered to the Calls for Interest will receive instructions on how to proceed with the booking directly at the e-mail address indicated during registration. These will include the passcode to access the designated booking platform;
  • Upon receipt of the passcode you will be able to access the designated platform and proceed directly with ticket (s) booking.

2. TICKET PRICE

  • The price of a single ticket Milan (MXP) – Nanjing (NKG) in ECONOMY CLASS is set at €1,900.
  • The purchase of the PREMIUM CLASS is available with a supplement of €200 per single ticket.

3. REQUIREMENTS FOR DEPARTURE

  • Approval of passengers list by Chinese authorities;
  • To board the plane, all passengers must hold all the documents required by the competent Chinese Authorities to enter the People’s Republic of China (PRC). CICC, its partners and the Italian Embassy are not responsible in case the passenger fails to provide required documents for departure.

4. BOARDING PROCEDURE

  • Passengers must arrive at check-in at least 5 hours before the scheduled departure time. They must be in possession of all the documents required to enter the country of destination
  • Each passenger can check in a hold baggage with a maximum weight of 23KG and 1 hand piece of 8 KG
  • Animals are not allowed

5. UPON ARRIVAL
All information related to the situation upon arrival in China will be given to passengers via e-mail as soon as they will be available.


(!) DISCLAIMER

Passengers must accept and abide by the following conditions:

Ticket booking is managed on a first come first served basis, with priorities according to the procedure above detailed;

All passengers must be in possession of the documents required by competent Chinese Authorities to enter China, including all additional and specific documents required during the epidemic period;

In case of clear discrepancy (i.e. not typos) between personal details provided in the Calls for interest and passengers’ details shared at the moment of booking, the booking will be automatically cancelled;        

Passengers that fail to provide the above-mentioned documents upon boarding will not be granted access to the plane and will not be entitled to any ticket refund;

In case of positive results to the COVID-19 tests, the passenger will not be allowed to board the plane. Just in this instance, the passenger will be entitled to a full refund of the ticket price upon presentation of written evidence confirming the COVID-19 infection;
