International Business School Suzhou (IBSS) at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is excited to invite you to join the China Next Move Seminar Session on 10th December 2015, hosted by IBSS Suzhou Executive Academy (SEA).

 

The seminar focuses on the opportunity to approach Asia as a whole creating a second home market for Medium Enterprises starting from the decision of a possible relocation of low cost and low value added production processes outside of China. During the seminar the analysis conducted for the company will be present and discussed providing a useful framework of work for similar type of projects. This seminar is recommend for General Managers, Consultants and Project Managers involved in the processes of strategic thinking.

Speakers:

Sergio Damilano holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin. He is currently the Chairman of the Board and General Manager of Bitron Industries China a company specialized in manufacturing valves and other components for several industries. He is also Chairman of the Board of Bitron Poland and in his career he covered several roles in different companies worldwide.

Roberto Donà, joined IBSS in May 2013 and he is a Professor of Practice in Management and the Head of the MBA Programmes. Previously he has been a faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Bocconi University since 1990. In Bocconi during 20 and plus years of experience he has served in many roles such as, among the others, Director of Executive MBA, Director of Global Executive MBA and Director of the Double Degree in International Management which is a cooperation between Bocconi University and Fudan School of Management in Shanghai. He has been Visiting Scholar (1996) and Visiting Professor (1998) at Stern School of Business (New York University) and Visiting Professor, Fudan University School of Management, Fudan University. He has a strong international exposure having worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Argentina, USA and China. His fields of interested are luxury and consumer goods, technology and automotive while his research is focus on Internationalization and Innovation Processes in Asia and in FDI in the region and in their managerial implications.

Since the beginning of his career he worked also as management consultant for both domestic and international companies serving in several board positions.
